I am angry now !

I was posting on another forum on line which i enjoyed visiting and posting on occasion. Yesterday i posted a post BOARDS in capital letters and the mods said don't do it because we thought there was an emergency or you were yelling. So then i get a E Mail from them yesterday as well saying the same thing to me. OK i see i was wrong and i sent an e mail back and said i was sorry and i would try to watch my self in the future.
Today i get a rather nasty e mail from the Mods saying the same thing again plus that i been warned several times about posting in caps and i would not be allowed to post any thing at all in caps and that's the way it was.
Now i wrote a post (to the forum) saying that i don't like being treated as such and i would no longer post there but i would still visit the site as i have for some time. I have bred and owned tiels for over 20 years and i learned a lot on line as well as hopefully helped answer a few questions.
When i sent back a e mail asking her/him to let me know how many times i posted in Caps, she said we don't have time to look, so how does she/he know. I thought i would post here not knowing if you would put it up or not but i thought i would try. Its worth a try...Bill/Fran

Can you Pm me what forum it was. i think i know but before i say anything about it i'd just like to make sure. I think it was quite nasty to be treated that way. you did nothing wrong. you didn't know any better.

Lol maybe you will remember that. Pretty sure thats what one od the mods posted to you. I personally dislike these people. A lot of them are very rude.

Sorry to hear about your experience, I do know posting in all Caps is a no no on many forums, as a Mod on this forum to be that rude over something so silly is not exceptable they made there point the first time, you made a mistake you realize it when you were told and it should have been left at that sounds like someone is trying to take there "POWER" a little to far.

It's a shame when people let power go to their heads. I find things typed in caps lock to be annoying, but not worth telling someone off a hundred times over. :rolleyes:

Some forums are just rude! I tend to leave them at the first sign of them being annoyingly rude. The talk budgies and cockatiel forums are the best I've ever been on. :)

That is rude, do they want to lose members, or something:mad: But I love Talk Cockatiels the members are kind, helpful & are many other nice things.

I must say this is the first forum I have ever participated in. Everyone is open minded and good natured. This helps give one the encouragement to join in.

I'm glad you think all those great things about these forums! :D I love coming here everyday because i don't feel like anyone here is judgemental or rude. Even on some of the other forums i go on, there are always a few people who like to have a strong opinion about EVERYTHING. :p
