I have a male that is a normal grey, and a cinnamon female. Thay just had 3 little babies. Right now they are 5 and 2 days old so they are just little yellow fluff balls. When can I tell what their colorings will be, and what mutation are they more than likely to be, the grey or the cinnamon?
Thanks so much

If the male is split to cinnamon, you'll have male and female cinnamon babies, but if the male doesn't have any splits, they'll all be grey. Cinnamons will have plum coloured eyes - srtiels has posted pictures somewhere of cinnamon babies eye colour. Greys will have pretty much black eyes. Otherwise you'll have to wait until they get their pin feathers. :)
If either of the parents has any other splits you don't know about, you may get different coloured chicks. =)

Can you post a pix of your pair, preferrably a back veiw?...it can give an idea if they are split to anything aside from the visual color you see.
As to when the babies hatch first glance will give you some idea...such as in the pix...

I do not know anything about the daddy. His name is Huckleberry. I found him at a flea market in a cage with 3 others, and they had plucked all his feathers on his back and he was bleeding. So I immediatley bought him. I have had him for over a year now and he is so handsome. His girlfriend, Sweet Potato, I found at a bird show. Her siblings were different mutations than her. She had a sister that had a solid grey face, no cheek patches. The others were greys. We have never had babies before. So I am kinda new to this. I have had baby kittens or puppies, but this is so different. My tiels are not hand trained nor have I tried. When I got Huckleberry he was so afraid of people that I just never pushed anything with him. I mean, they sing to me and are fine with my hands being in the cage, but I cant touch them. We talk through the cage all the time. If I try to get them to eat a new food and they dont like it, they let me know. The will lift the food tray up and down until I empty it. He even whistles at me when I walk by. Anyway, Ive gotton off topic. Thanks for answering my post. I know this may ge a stupid question, but what does "split" mean?

She had a sister that had a solid grey face, no cheek patches.
That sister was whiteface, meaning both parents had the gene so it's possible that your hen is split whiteface. If your male is also split whiteface you can get whiteface chicks. WF chicks can be identified at birth because they have white fuzz instead of yellow.
If you get any chicks with red eyes (which almost looks like no eyes at birth), they are probably lutino females. There are a couple of other mutations with red eyes but they're fairly rare.
"Split" means that the bird is carrying the gene without showing the colors.
