they are addictive well all birds actually

I started out 2 years ago only wanting A bird I couldn't make up my mind between a Budgie and a Quaker both had qualities i wanted Well I couldn't find any Quakers locally and I didn't want to wait any more (waited over 20 yrs as it was MY mom never let me have a bird growing up her reason"they're too messy" - i really should have listened LOL)

I got my 1st budgie In May (mothers day gift to myself from my kids bought it while they were at school and surprised them when they got home ;) ) in July I got a Quaker from a lady on a Quaker forum I was a member of who was moving and couldn't take him with her

it has escalated since 7 months later I was at around 65 birds, I downsized a few months later and now i'm back up to around 50 some birds

I strongly suggest setting a limit and sticking to it! LOL my b/f just can't seem to tell me no or he'd bring them home to me or call me from a store or bird fair lol

see it is all his fault and my moms if she'd let me have one I wouldn't of wanted one so badly and if he'd learn to tell me no (really i know what it means and i'm not scared to hear it LOL) then I wouldnt have so many

but I love em' all even the one who hates me to death The 1st Quaker LOL and the ones who refuse to let me touch them But all in due time They'll be begging for scratches I just know it :D
