Hello...

Just brought a DnA'd Albino Cock (3 years) and a Cinamon Pearl White Face Hen (1.5 years)...

Could all the mutation experts confirm the hens mutation... I forgot to take a picture of her chest, but I'm quite sure she's a cinamon...

Also... If you could tell me the possible outcome I could expect from this pair, that would be really helpful...

Thanks heaps...

hm she doesn't resemble any white face cinnamon pearls i have had. all my White face pearls have had pure white heads (and are girls)

But if she is and neither one are hiding anything here is what you would get

Mother:Whiteface Cinnamon Pearl
Father:Whiteface Lutino

male offspring:
100% Whiteface Split To {X1: Lutino} {X2: Cinnamon Pearl}

female offspring:
100% Whiteface Lutino

and on a side note here is my White cinnamon Pearl

she's had her white face since her feathers came in as a baby

and a white face pearl (same with her face being white since she got her feathers)

Just so you know: it's pretty well known that you shouldn't breed lutino to lutino because of inbreeding issues (which isn't directly relevant). What's a LOT less well known is that breeding whiteface to whiteface can sometimes produce genetically weak chicks. Or so I've been told anyway. They say it isn't as big of a problem as it is with lutinos. I don't know how accurate this information is.

Yes she looks like a whiteface cinna pearl.

Like atvchick said, the possible outcome is correct, unless the dad is split to any other sex-link mutations. All females will be whiteface lutino, but they can also have pearl and cinna, and the males can come out pearl and cinn too. Like I said that is only IF he is split.

Also about the breeding two whiteface together, it used to be true, but now because they are so much more common and not so inbred any more, they do produce strong babies.

good luck!
