At first I thought she was a normal female, but after seeing other's pictures, I don't think that she is. Is it possible that she's a pearl pied?

She is in no doubt a pearl. I THINK she may just be a normal pearl, but for some reason I'm having a difficult time telling. She may just also be a pearl pied because the normal pearls i've seen have a lot more pearling, but all the pearl pieds i've seen don't look like that.
Question, how old is she?

Lucy looks like she is a normal (meaning grey tone and yellow, with orange cheeks) pearl.
This link below will take you to another recent thread...and you can look to see if her tail is similar. And the 2nd pix in the thread shows what to look for (last 2 feathers in the grouping) if she is also pied.

Is this bird definitely female? I don't know much about pearls, but it looks to me like the pearls on the back might be disappearing. Also, the dim lighting makes it hard to be sure but the face looks too yellow for a hen (unless she's pied).

Lucy is at least a year or two old; I'd have to ask the original owner for the exact hatch date. She is a proven female. The other bird in the picture is her brother, and when they were housed together, they mated and laid eggs. She is most definitely a female.
Her tail feathers are dark in the middle and have very light barring.
And I'm very sorry about the horrid lighting, my room's main light takes four bulbs and only one is working at the moment. We seem to have run out of my bulbs and those kind (older house) tend to be hard to find. I'd open the blinds for natural light, but it was nighttime when I took those pictures.
