Well mom and allison should be home soon i hope. poor girl is probably crying her eyes out. She wont be allowed outside for a week or 2 to play to make sure no infection happens. won't be allowed in my room near my animals either to make sure no dust gets in her eyes. The has to have drops everyday and last time she hated em. Going to be a long month.

good to hear she is home, its always hard when little kids go through surgery I have been there quite a few times myself with my oldest daughter you feel so bad for them I hope the surgery was successful and she won't have to go through this again hopefully the week goes fast and you get some good news from the doctor next week ;)

She is doing well. A lot better then last time really. She is really sooken into her mom. When she crys it hurts but i think she is doing well. Not allowed to have a lot of action going but i think she will pull through fine. She is just after waking up from a 3 hour nap.

What was wrong with her eyes?

See the 1st pic. She needed to try and have corrective surgery again.

Here is some more info on this:
Misaligned Eyes (strabismus)

With strabismus, the eyes are not aligned. Strabismus is quite common and occurs in about 4% of children. One eye may gaze straight ahead while the other eye turns inward, upward, downward, or outward. When an eye turns inward, the child has "crossed" eyes (esotropia). There are two common causes for esotropia. Some children are born with crossed eyes (or develop it shortly after birth), and in this situation the muscles are too tight. Treatment for this most commonly involves surgery on the eye muscles, generally performed prior to the age of 2.

The second most common cause for esotropia is excessive farsightedness. This problem can be present at birth, but most commonly occurs between the age of 2 and 6 years. This type of esotropia is corrected with glasses.

When an eye turns outward, the child has exotropia. Exotropia may be present from birth, but most commonly is seen in children 2 to 7 years of age. Generally the eyes turn out on rare occasions at first but with time more frequent outward turning of the eyes is noted. Children with exotropia occasionally squint one eye when exposed to bright sunlight. The treatment for large amounts of exotropia is usually eye muscle surgery.

Children with misaligned eyes will generally turn off the vision in the turned eye so that they are not plagued with double vision. Children with strabismus should have a careful examination by an ophthalmologist because untreated strabismus may lead to a lazy eye (amblyopia) or loss of depth perception. Rarely, strabismus may indicate a more serious condition, such as cataract or eye tumor (retinoblastoma).

Thanks for posting that information Aly, it helps to understand what the problem is. I was wondering what vision would be like with your eyes going wonky, so it's interesting to read that the wonky eye will "turn off".

Her vision is fine. Thankfully. Today she is acting like nothing ever happened. I slept in her bed because mine if overloded by new cage boxes and cage parts that can't be put together. She came in and lid down with me. she Said i love you. So i asked her for a kiss. She said no. So i said fine go to sleep. Next thing i know she was leaning over for a kiss. She sneeze on mom twice Last night. She also wants on her trampoline today but she is not allowed to have that much fun yet lol. Only thing she hates is having to get drops in here eyes.

I probably shouldn't have posted that picture. She was looking at something but thats not the way her eyes always are somewhat. She couldn't keep a still face lol.

regardless of how her eyes are she is still a beautiful little girl, I am glad to hear she is fine today like nothing happened isn't amazing how kids can bounce back from surgery like its just any other day :D I don't blame her for not wanting the drops poor thing how long does she have to put them in?

She is doing great. Still hating them drops. She goes to see the doctor on wens. She still wants out on her trampoline but is not allowed. She eyes still have blood in them. She is still bright and happy. doesn't even care besides the drops. I'll get a new pic of her soon as the blood leaves her eyes.
