The pied pearl cockatiel that I thought was a male for 4 1/2 years turned out to be a female.I put her in with my pearl male 1 month ago and guess what she laid her first egg on August 31st and now she's up to 3.

So what will I get from this pair?

Mother: Pied Pearl
Father: Pearl

If those are the only mutations the parents are carrying then this is what you'll get:

Mother:Pied Pearl
Father:Pearl

male offspring:
100% Pearl Split To Pied

female offspring:
100% Pearl Split To Pied

All pearls in other words. But if your male is split pied you can expect 50% pearl pied chicks of both sexes. If he's split to lutino and/or cinnamon you can get female chicks in those colors. If both parents are split whiteface you can get whiteface chicks. Don't expect any normal grey chicks though because you can't get those!
