I was reading about Pieds, and I got to the 3rd sentence and I was completely lost.

Larry, I believe is Split to Pied? Charlie is also Split to Pied, so my question is.. why is it Larry has so much white/yellow on the back of his head where as Charlie's only got a few tick markings? is it that Larry has more Pied in him or something?!

Does Larry have any all yellow wing or tail feathers? He could be very lightly pied.

The bird in the picture looks like he's split pied. Different birds vary in how extensive the pied ticking is, and some birds don't show a pied split at all.

I'll have to check, but I don't remember seeing any yellow on his wings or tail feathers.

At the bottom of my page I have some pix's: http://justcockatiels.weebly.com/pied.html

Pied patches can be as large as covering the whole head like a hood, but if there is no solid light/yellow wing flights or tail feathers then it is a split.

Just checked him, there's no yellow on his wings or tail (only yellow underneath) so he must be just split. Thanks. :)
