What will this bird look like at adulthood? I can't find any pictures.
Will it look mostly like a Whiteface Grey? I can find pics of that mutation.
The baby picture looks mostly grey right now.
Does the "split pied" just mean it carries the gene?
TIA!

Whiteface split pied, will just look like a whiteface, possibly with some white markings on the back of the head. Pied is a recessive gene, so the bird needs two copies of it to be a visual pied. Split birds, just carry one of the genes. :) You don't need to say "whiteface grey" as grey is the "default" colour, so just whiteface is fine. It's only if their main colour, is something like cinnamon that you need to mention it. :)

If this chick is already feathered and is female, she'll look about the same as an adult as she does right now. Whiteface grey females are rather plain-looking - Shodu in the picture below has this color scheme.

If the chick turns out to be male, he'll develop a bright white face when he gets older.

The females will look the same when adult as they were when young. The males will molt in a white facial mask.
