I'm not interested in breeding and my two are both (supposedly) female but I was wondering what the outcome would be if they were to breed?
Just curious!
Thanks.

Well, pearl and lutino are both sexlinked genes, so you get different results depending which is a male.
Male: Whiteface Lutino
Female: Whiteface Pearl Pied
Gives:
Males:
Whiteface split lutino pearl pied
Females:
Whiteface lutino split pied
------------------------------------
Male: Whiteface Pearl Pied
Female: Whiteface Lutino
Gives:
Males:
Whiteface split lutino pearl pied
Females:
Whiteface pearl split pied

Hmmmm...It would also help to know the parents of both birds. If all the parents were whitefaces, for 1 or more generations, then it is best to pair a visual WF to a bird that is split to a WF gene. The reason why is that many times visual to visual can result in smaller weaker offspring in the nest generation. In order to improve on the next generation it is best to pair a visual to a split.

Wow. Interesting stuff. I don't plan to ever breed. Years away at least. I'll leave it to the expert breeders, I don't guess we need any more amateurs. For the maximum health of the birds, that is.
Thanks for the responses.
