My Day

Today was one of those days that you wish would go away :p this morning it started with my peanut Pepper first the vomitting then the diarrhea came I was upstairs trying to get the poor thing cleaned up in the bath when my son started yelling MOM Ashley is throwing up all over herself I run downstairs and there is my baby standing there looking at me covered in a mess :eek: I get her cleaned up and changed and run back to Pepper get her cleaned up and back to the baby Ian was off for a whole week over Christmas and the first day he goes back I am left with two of them at the same time :eek:

I finally got the baby to bed she was so tired you could tell she was not well and then I got Pepper tucked into bed, yes I said bed ...lol she gets into my bed just like a little kid with the covers tucked over her and just her little head sticking out..hehe she is to cute after I got the two of them settled I had to go and clean the mess Pepper made all over :blink: not a fun job.

By the time Ian came home I was wiped out and then tonight the phone rings and Ian answers it and I can tell by his face something is wrong and he is like I will be right there, it was my mom she was crying she fell in the t.v room and knocked everything over and couldn't get up so I am like no I am going had to throw clothes on as I was in my pj's after the day I had, I drive over there like a mad fool helped her to her room got her pj's on her and got her into bed with an ice pack she is really sore but nothing seems to be broken she wouldn't go to the hospital she wants to wait and see how she feels tommorrow

After I got her settled I went and picked up all the broken things got her t.v room back together and then stayed for a few hours to make sure she was ok finally got home and I am totally exhausted but somehow just can't get to sleep :rolleyes: hopefully tommorrow will be a better day.

Ouch! That sounds like a pretty bad day! I'm glad everyone is ok now. The baby and the dog getting sick and then your mom...oh boy...that is a FULL day. Put the coffee cup down and go take a warm bath...you deserve a good night's rest!

Thanks Bea, so far today is turning out to be a better day although I am tired so far no one has been sick so I am keeping my fingers crossed :D

Awww, Laura, you really have had a bad day, but they say things come in threes so that was Pepper, Baby and Mom, so that's it now, get it over with in this year and start fresh next. I really hope you have a better day tomorrow and that your mom is feeling better. How old is she? It's not funny when they start to fall around, bless her cotton socks.

Oh yeah, I am addicted to coffee and I still manage to sleep. I drink percolated coffee all day.....it's only me that drinks it and I make two big jugs full!! You need some sort of stimulant to keep you going throughout the day. lol.

Your so funny you always manage to make me laugh :p My day is going much better Pepper only had the runs once early morning which was a pain to clean :blink: and now she seems more like her normal self although I have been holding back her food I am going to try a bland meal tonight for her and see how that goes, the baby is much better still some runs with her as well but nothing like yesterday.

Plukie my mom is actually quite young to be having so many problems she is only 57 :rolleyes: she never really took care of herself she is very overweight and I don't mean just a little bit and it has caused many problems back knee's etc... she has had a few operations on her knees over the years and walked with a cane she also takes way to much pain medciation which I think impairs her judgemet she has fallen quite a few times over the years she fell two years ago and broke her femur bone I had to go over and call an ambulance she was just screaming so I was expecting the worst last night but thankfully nothing seems broken I don't mean to sound mean about it but I really wish she would take better care of herself she is one of those people that sits and poor me feel sorry for me, everyone cater to me but won't do anything about it and won't get any help for her problems but thats a whole other story...lol :p

And YES I to am addcited to coffee love it :love: can't go without drink it day and night...hehe I am the only one that drinks it here as well ;)
