Help!!!!!!!!

My neighbours cat went missing a couple days ago, and they found it in the tree in my other neighbours yard!! The tree is HUGE and the cat is at the top. The animal control won't do anything, they've tried climbing (scared it further up and ladder wont reach) food (is too scared to come down) and even holding out a blanket for the cat to jump.

tree people aren't working today. any thoughts are appriciated!!!!! :(

Thanks Aly. But it seems to be too high up for that, and I think sprinkling dog food would attract raccoons and they would kill the cat or something.

Poor little thing, I hope she doesn't die.

There's no way that some company could come out with one of those cherry picker things could they? That's what always seems to happen on animal rescue shows when cats get stuck up a tree. :huh:

I can't believe animal control could give you no help or suggestions not even someone you could call for help wow thats something I hope the poor kittie will be ok.

My old cat got stuck up a tree before. She was a stray that we took in. No one would help us. So my Mom wrote the paper to complain and a pest animal worker decided to help. They put a live trap in the tree with some cat food in it. She was too smart for that and it did not work. we left food and water at the bottom of the tree and eventually she got so hungry that she climbed and jumped down. Keep an eye on her. I hope she will be ok.
