South Florida's getting freezing weather! [Archive]

:D I am SO excited! We're suppose to get a wind chill in the 30F- that's
-1.11C!!! I can't WAIT!:p It's suppose to last two days-the 1st and 2nd of 2008..I highly doubt there will be any snow since we're right by the ocean..hehe but maybe something will freeze...lol..I hope!;)

how exciting :D i hope you do get some snow im hoping we get some snow near were i live i love snow for two reasons its so fun!:D and if there to much you get a day of school woo.;)

Highly doubt the snow..I think it's snowed once in Miami a LONG time ago and melted as it hit the ground. We're use to weather in the 70F's so that is a really nice change, even if it's two days. (washing my only jacket now) ;)

Hope you enjoy it! We are in the middle of a snow squall right now. Suppose to get up to 6 inches by morning! I would love to send you some snow! NY will never run out LOL Once again Enjoy! Could you send me some nice warm weather pretty please? lol

To see palm trees covered in snow is what my dream is! I have one sweater jacket that I haven't worn in forever..washing it now. I hope it's true and the weather people aren't over exagerating like always.

Urgh, your weather is getting cold and we're finally getting typical summer temperatures. Actually, they're still only low 30C's here at the moment, i guess usual would be high 30C's. :rolleyes:

Lucky...I would love for it to be cool and breezy here all the time compared to the hot and sticky..People get excited here when they announce cool weather, even if it's for a day or two. Everyone takes out their never worn jackets, sweaters and boots that would look ridiculous on a normal day. :blush:

YES!!!! It's starting to get cold!!! I just turned off my a/c which is never off...lol. I've never used the heat option on it but maybe I'll have to later tonight!!! YAY!

Well last night was freezing but they said tonight is going to be even colder..nothing frooze unfortunetly but we do have a freeze warning for tonight.

I just went outside just because...lol and I am FREEZING! It's never been so cold here and I've been living here for 13 years....BBBBRRRR! I have on a my thickest pair of pj's, a t-shirt, my sweater jacket and two pairs of socks...
PS-the heat option doesn't work on the a/c.. It's not bad in the house at all but outside is sooo cold.

Were I am at it has been in the 40's for some time now and we are FINALLY getting some winter weather! Yesterday it was about 17 degrees all day and it even flurried a little! Today it was 31! It might snow for once! YIPPEEE!
