Dimplez refuses to stay on my shoulder when I'm on my desk trying to study. He likes to throw things down the floor, chases my fingers when I type, chases my pen when I write, chases the mouse cursor when I'm using the laptop, or just sits on the keyboard staring at the monitor & decides to...poop on it - especially after he just had some water or leafy vegies, very fun to clean it :D

Same here, I can't take Marty into the study with me. I bought a little cage so I could sit him next to me so he's not left alone, but he just can't behave otherwise :(

He is JEALOUS! That happens to the friend that I am looking at a bird from. When he is on his computer his male bird will get jealous and go and sit on the keyboard looking at the screen and trying to get his attention! My friend says it is like he is saying. "Hey, I am still here! What are you looking at that is so interesting?" LOL So yeah I think you have a jealous bird!

I notice he loves picking at the keyboard, and especially biting off the AC cord...The other day I was looking at it & it has all these biting marks of him on the cord :rolleyes:

Silas frequently sits on my shoulder when I'm working on my laptop. My laptop is an expensive piece of work... and I'm not letting him touch it in any way. In our basement, I dug out an old keyboard that no longer works, scrubbed it down VERY well. Cleaned all the dirt and crud out fom between the keys and all-together completely scrubbed it out. Silas now sits on that keyboard and plays with it, pecking the keys and picking at the buttons. If he poops on it, I just hose it down in the bathtub. He loves it!. He hasn't bothered my other desk stuff at all now. I just sit the keyboard next to my laptop and he's happy to type away next to me. :P

That's so funny. :p The things we do for our kids to keep them happy. I remember at Christmas I was trying to wrap presents and Holly wouldn't leave them alone so I wrapped up something from the kitchen and let him "unwrap" it. He thought it was great. :)
