R.I.P Jasper

Jasper was taken to the Vets yesterday because my brother found him on the bottom of the cage not able to move, he was lethargic and really skinny.

My brother brought Jasper over to my house and I nursed him for a bit.. and then he was taken to the Vets. There, they checked him and gave him fluids to hydrate him and kept him there overnight to keep an eye on him. He was doing alright, he was really fighting, I was told to ring back this morning to find out how he's going...

I just got off the phone with the Vet and Jasper had passed away this morning.

My brother's gotta take his other two birds in and have them do tests/check them out. But he's scrubbed the cage and everything in it for now.

Thanks guys.. I haven't been able to stop crying, well not for a few minutes. I feel like curling into a ball and disappearing.. it's so hard to look at my other 'tiels too.. without crying and picturing him.

Awww :( RIP Jasper :( It's so hard to lose them. My girl died at the vet office when she had to stay overnight and I've always regretted that she was alone in a strange place when she died instead of at home with Arthur and me.

Oh god.. I'm so sorry. I don't know how I missed this. I hope the other two are OK.
It'll get easier.. its so hard at first, I understand.
