I have no clue what happened to him. He was fine this morning. I fed him then went out to run some errands. I was gone for about an hour or so. When I came home he was sitting on the bottom of his cage. He wouldn't respond to me at all. I picked him up and it was like he had a seizure and then he was gone. I don't know what I did wrong. I wish I would have been here, maybe I could have helped him more or done something...

It's not your fault, he could've had some underlying condition that didn't show itself right away or something. At least he was happy while he was with you...

Sorry to hear about your baby :(. That actually sounds like what happened to my Phoenix. He was fine, then I was holding him one day and he collapsed...then passed away in my hands. Birds are fragile and you shouldn't blame yourself.

I'm trying not to blame myself, just feel bad for him. I don't think I'll get another cockatiel for a while though.
