Dave and I decided to leave out the karma system with this forum, to prevent karma wars and such. :p I think the forum is running very nicely without it at the moment. :)

I'm glad you see it that way too. While rep/karma systems can be a fun addition, they're not necessary to make a fun and friendly forum. :D

Although sometimes it can be nice to receive a nice comment, it tends to cause drama and back and forth "karma fights". It was a smart thing not to add it here. ;)

I agree, I don't see the need for one. i personaly didn't use the one on talk budgies when i was a member and i don't think i would now if there is one. People know if they are posting good info and i know a lot of people here do.
