I am done with writing a post and oops the phone rang or I had to go do something for more than 5 minutes and come back to submit my post only to be told I do not have permission to post and refresh my page. So my post is lost.
I only have this trouble with this site and Talkparrots and Talkparrotlets and talkbudgies. Other forums are not so tight. I won't post any longer, just lurk, maybe........

you can just copy what you type then refresh and paste then post. i have this problem with a couple over forums. vBulletin has had problems like this when you have the lesser of its packages or just the general issue stuff.

I do what brando said, that way I don't have to retype anything because it's a real pain in the butt. Maybe one of the moderators can make an adjustment to the site or something to fix this problem?

Just calm down and don't jump to drastic conclusions. Talk to one of the administrator's and try to make a comprimise. We would hate to see you leave because of loading problems...

Usually if I have an error come up after making a post (Usually for my internet being a pain though), I just click 'go back' and it brings me right back with all my post still intact. Although, I haven't had to do that while on here, so I don't know if it would work here or not.

I am having the same problem but when I log in! When I log in, sometimes it says "thankyou for logging in, Belinda" then it directs me to the forum where I am clearly not logged in or then says I do not have privledges if I am trying to reply to something! It takes me sometimes about 20 tries before I get in, empty my cache, refresh, close the page... very frustrating... I sent an email to the "contact us" page lol... coz I couldn't even log in. This has been happening on and off the past few days...

Happening with me too Belinda, I thought it was my computer. Now I know it is not some sort of virus or something.

i can say i dont seem to have a issue, although another way round is type in word and then copy and paste.

I also think the quick reply option works better, i tend to use the quick reply.

Just for the information, it isn't this forum in particular that does that. It's the engine they use. It is a security feature to avoid people being able toa ccess your account.

How many of you use firefox? My hubby said the other day that firefox is dying again (apparently it happened before and they had to come out with a new version) which is why everything has been running slow.
