Sad News

[Laura]

Another sad day for me my father in law passed away early this morning he was 83 and lived a good life but it was still shocking as it happened very suddenly and very quickly, within less then 24 hrs, he was not feeling well yesterday got to the hospital last evening by midnight he was in icu on life support and passed this morning there was really no time to prepare or say goodbye he was a good man a kind and gentle soul that would do anything for you, I was really blessed with good in laws he was dearly loved and will be missed terribly.

Oh dear...I was dreading this news...Ian must be so sad right now, along with the whole family. I'm really sorry Laura, all the best to your whole family.

Thanks everyone for your kind word's there very comforting, Yes Aly Ian is taking it very hard he was very close to his dad he didn't get home till 8.00am this morning after being there from yesterday he had about 2 hours restless sleep sitting up and then he was back to his mom's they had to go make funeral arrangements I haven't told the kids yet I am waiting till they come home from school I am dreading that part :( I figured there was no sense telling them this morning so I let them go on with there normal day . Alexis is still devastated over Lulu so I can only imagine what she is going to be like when she gets home and I tell them.

Thank you birdluv, it must be a sad day for you as well being the anniversary of your fathers passing, I lost my father coming up on 5 years and although life goes on its something you never really get over.

Thank you Sophia, 83 is a great age he lived a good and long life and I take comfort in that I don't mean to sound harsh but not many people live that long so I think he did good I am really sad for his wife my mother in law she has been with him most of her life over 50 years so I am sad for her now that she will be alone and of course I am sad for my husband regardless of his fathers age its still hard to lose a parent and they had a special bond they talked all the time on the phone and we were toegther a few times a week with them.

My Great Grandad is 86 which is old, he was married for a very long time, but his wife, my great Grandma passed away about 5 years ago, my grandma my great grandma's daughter, was devastated, so was my dad. :( It is so hard to get through sad times :cry:

It is really hard when you lose someone. I lost my Grandma and then a month later my Nanny :( I hope everyone will remember the goodtimes. At my Nannies funeral everyone cried when they seen the funny photos we had of my Nanny, I guess since it was some of the times we will miss the most :(
