Spreading my wings

Hello all. My name is Khrista and I currently am owned by two parakeets and two cats. I am a member of TalkBudgies and, as they all know, I blame them for my fascination with cockatiels. I was at a bird show yesterday and found the loveliest of little ladies. She is a 3 month old yellow/grey cockatiel, completely hand-tamed and as cuddly as can be. I had to restrain myself at the time because I have no cage set up for a new bird. The lady who owns this little bird will be back in the area in two weeks and then that little girl will be all mine. I'm SOOO excited. I have a ton of questions that I will post in another section when I get more time. Can't wait to meet you all!

i thought i would not like having bigger birds as my 14 budgies are a total handfull...
but now i have 6 tiels, and they are easier to manage than the budgies! :eek:

SHE'S MINE!!!!!!!!!!!! I got a hold of the breeder tonight (she had been sick the past couple of days). The little girl is mine for the taking. She's going to try to email me pictures. Now all I have to do is.... wait a week and a half (Feb. 10th) for the lady to be in my area again. HAPPY HAPPY JOY JOY JOY!!!!!!!!!!
