Budgie advice????

Can anyone give me some advice please? I took my moms budgie Belle to the vets today because she is balding around her eyes & they look slightly inflamed to me & her bottom is completly bald. The vet said she didn't really know, helpful I know :confused: . She is eating & drinking fine but she is quite puffed up & is sleeping alot. The top of her beak has recently changed from brown/pink to blue. She is about two years old & her mate Bobby is fine. She also used to be quite dominant towards Bobby & aggressive towards people when caught but recently she has been pretty calm. Any ideas would be gratefully appreciated :D

Sorry the vet didn't have more clue..that's sad. I really can't say what it could be but she does sound ill. I would try another vet, an avian one.

I would take her to an avain vet aswell. And keep her separate from your birds and your Moms too.

Well unfortunatly my moms budgie Belle died before I could find an avian vet,so I don't have a clue what was wrong with her. She seemed to be feeling better.

Thats terrible :( Keep an eye on your other birds. Better safe than sorry
