Now I wish she had a name. I stopped naming my aviary birds a long time ago. Sometimes it's best not having a name, I guess. She was here then she was gone in the blink of an eye. :cry: Fly free little one.

An aviary bird is what we call cockatiels that live in say an outside aviary, a lot of them aren't tame, but some are. They have more room out there and are free flying most of the time.

As Roxy said, its a bird that lives with a lot of other birds, usually outdoors in a very large area with a lot of space to fly.

This of course could only be done in warm climates.

Yes, an aviary bird is one that lives in an aviary. All but two of my cockatiels are aviary birds, the other two are pets.
