School starts as my son says in 3 more sleeps :p its been along summer 2 months is way to long to be off I am looking forward to them going back and getting into a routine again :D

Just curious how everyone else's school year runs I am quite fascinated that different countries have different times of starting before the internet I thought everyone ran on the same schedule or close to it ....LOL :p silly me

I've got 4 more weeks before the Spring holidays which go for 2 weeks. Our really long summer holidays start in December and finish at the beginning of February. Lucky me finishes in late November this year - but unlucky me will have finished school then too, no more school holidays for me. I still might say that the summer holidays this year are in fact holidays for me though. :p That's called being lazy - something i'm good at, lol!!

Only one week?!! What's the point. :p We get 3 lots of 2 week holidays, and then the long 8 week ones in the summer.

LOL.... Yup they get one week in March almost 10 weeks in the summer June-Sept and then two weeks in December for Christmas, New Year

Thats cuz she's in aus. And there summer is at different time than canada. We're just ending summer, where as the're starting summer soon. Different seasons.


Im not not that far away, im in british columbia.. so i doubt it will be that different. We get 2 weeks off for spring break though.

school on 3ish days for me. 2 years left and i'm DONE DONE DONE. Then to figure out what to do from there. Drivers permit comming up for me to. And a job. Going to be so busy but having so much fun while doing it.

School starts tommorrow YAH!!! my son is starting grade 2 and he is so excited to go back, my daughter is starting grade 8 but she doesn't start till next week she goes to a different school.
Ian was just telling me the neighbourhood men are going to get together to have a drink tonight to celebrate the kids going back to school ...lol I say they will use any excuse to get together to have one :p

start on the 5th. Not happy to go back but i am. Few choice courses i don't want to do. Oh well. Do good the from the start and and i can pretty much bom the final exams and still pass with good marks lol.

School here started about two weeks ago. I wouldn't normally keep track but I went to Walmart to pick up a few things last week and found myself in a 45minute register line...all that back to school shopping...If I would have known, I would have would waited until until the following week. Goodluck to everyone who is going back to school!!!

I have 6 weeks of lovely lie ins, but I'm going back this Thursday. Not looking forward to it! :p
