I bought a new book that has recipes for your bird in it. Inside it says that if your bird eats pellets, that they should not have a cuttle bone and mineral block aswell. Spike has pellets in his seed mix and he also has a bowl of zupreem pellets, a mineral block and a cuttle bone. Do you think he is getting to many vitamins? He really loves his cuttle bone and he will pick at his mineral block as well. Any thoughts on this :confused: Thanks for the info :)

I wouldn't worry. I think it would only be a problem if he ate nothing but pellets and cuttlebone. :p Pellets do have added calcium so imagine that's what the problem would be...

Mine eat pellets, they devour thier 2 in 1 cuttle bones, but they get veggies and birdie bread aslo

If they're getting too much of anything, Im not seeing it with mine.
