I took some pics between yesterday and today and I wanted to post them...They're not anything special- I just like how they came out..and I'm obsessed with my camera. :)

This is not a clear one because it was from my balcony - I had to stand up on a chair to take it..and it was raining...well, here's a bird I've never seen before...

Those last ones look like fountains, but are they people on those jet ski boaty thingos?

That bird looks like a heron to me. I like the raindrops on the leaves, I do a lot of photography, it's my top hobby, but I just can't get Macro right, my partner does a lot of macro and his always looks good. The fountains look good, almost like fireworks!

Is it a heron? I don't know why I thought herons were white and not as big. This was a very tall bird.. alteast 4-5 feet from head to toes... I love photography too, although birds are my top hobby...lol. The macro thing is not easy. You'd think it's just a point and click but the lighting and focus has to be just right. I'll keep trying till I get that one perfect shot. So far the only winning shot was this pic of Baby. It won us $50 and first prize.

We have herons around here alot at the creeks and they're huge , there are many differnt kinds i've seem some small ones on the net,

Love the lite up water fountains :)

I can see why that photo won a prize, it's lovely, you've caught the catch light in her eyes just nicely and the background compliments her little face.

The tall white birds you are thinking of might be egrets, they are very similar to herons, only white.

I like the leaves with the raindrops you captured it perfectly, it took me a minute I thought the fountain was fire works at first ;)

They spit water upwards out the back as they go, so that's why i thought they might be those. :p
