What Are Your Hobbies?

I thought it would be fun to share our hobbies! :D

I love horse riding and i go for a lesson once a week. I've been taking lessons for 9 years which is now half my life! :p

I don't have my own horse but in a way i think that's good because it means i get to ride all different kinds of horses and i learn to adapt my skills to suit different temperament horses. In 9 years i've fallen off twice and have had a few other near misses. Neither of my falls were serious but they sure were scary. :p

My other hobby has to be photography! I just love taking photos of my pets, animals, flowers, anything! :D I'm currently waiting on a new camera - a Canon Powershot A650IS which dad bought me for my 18th birthday present.

I use to be madly inlove with horse right up to the age of 12. Sadly i developed hay fever and its hard to be around them. Its sad that i can't. i use to love being around them and riding but now the best i can do it look at pictures and watch them from a distance

Use to be into drawing and painting aswell but i also got out of that. I play a online game a lot. completly addicted to it but i don't know how long that will last.

Well lets see when I've got the time and energy ( bieng a single mom doesn't give me much time and takes all my energy But that i wouldn't change for the world)

I love to ride 4- wheelers I finally owned another one up until' a Couple months ago, I left it at my parents for my dad to use while he goes Deer hunting, and since I've got no place to ride it here in town I fiqured it would get more use back home, BUT yet again my dad's job wasn't doing too well ( the coal minning bussiness is not doing so swell these days) So I told my parent's to sell it and use the money

I love taking pictures of anything I used to have a huge box filled with pics ( a box about the size a computer comes in) but from moving around so much i've lost alot of those :-( some I had doubles of Some are just memories now

I love reading - Stephen King and Dean R. Koontz are my favs , Watching good horror movies, or any movies with Corey Haim in it - YES I KNOW i'm an ADULT I NEED TO LOOSE THE INFATUATION LOL

Mud bogging is another huge hobby or ours my kids love it, I took them both out mud boggin at a year old :-) they couldn't stop laughing their lil butt's off it was awesome

Doing things with my kids, they're 7 and 10, we'll read, color , play on the playstation or just sit around and watch t.v. together -

The paranormal world is yet another big hobby of mine, I love everything about it , I watch Ghost Hunters on the Sci Fi every wed. night , I like to collect wolfs and Indian stuff

and last but not least my PETS, my birds, all of my dogs( which are back home With my parents and i've got 6, I had 7 But my lab died recently, and i've got one cat)

I love horse riding, I have done it since I was 3 years old. I have been to various different riding schools but now I riding a 14.3hh welsh cob mare called Fascie who is perfect. I have a riding lesson once a week on her and she is a great little horse to ride. I will try to download a picture soon from the camera. :)

I also play tennis and have lessons everyone thursday.

I would love to say I have more hobbies then I do but with having three kids ages 1-12 and a husband thats at work its not always easy to find time, I love going on the computer its like a whole new world when you can't find the time to get out and about with having the baby, when the baby is napping and the kids are at school I get caught up on my cleaning (yeah I know exciting....lol) when I am done that and its my free time I am usually exploring the computer (I love games) or I am reading a good book I have always loved to read and its something I try to do everyday, I love walking at night by myself its so peaceful and gives me a chance to clear my head and unwind.

Photography is my main hobby, my partner like photography as well, so we often go out and about with our cameras. We are lucky we have a zoo close by that we have memberships for, so we go there quite a lot.

Music is my other hobby, we go out to a lot of live gigs, usually tribute bands or local bands. The first Thursday in the month is Blues Night at one of the venues that we go to and ..........yep....this is me!!

So, really apart from photography and music, I suppose anything to do with the computer and our pets pretty much take up the rest of my day.

LOL- I'm sure you can draw more then stick people...maybe stick animals too? Alexis can teach you! LOL :p The reason that I said I am not very good is because it takes alot for me to draw or paint something. The one with the girl on the rocks is a drawing I made during hurricane Wilma I think- and the other..well..I'd love to be in that painting so that's why..lol

I have a few different hobbies that always change from time to time.
I get bored so easily, and can never stick with anything.

But, I love photography...until I can get a better camera I am not going to be so thrilled about that hobby.

I definitely love pets and animals - I have two dogs, a cat, and three birds (soon to be 4 - Getting a new senegal)
I am always looking for ways to better their lives and they are my life.

I love going to bird shows, and buying new toys for the birds!
The best part of the bird shows is taking my wife - she just doesn't understand how popular the bird world is, and how many people are into it.
It always amazes her when she sees a lot of people at the shows, and many different beautiful birds.

My favorite hobby is computers/technology.
I HAVE to have every new gadget there is and learn all about it.
I love the internet. I love creating websites, and teaching my parents and elders how amazing, resourceful, and great the internet is.

Just in last July, I created an all pet forum (dogs, cats, birds, ocean life, etc.)- it is actually starting to get some members and some action is going on :) (I don't want to get in trouble for posting the link here...PM me if you want it)
My passion for computers has lead me to a great job as an IT Administrative Consultant and Teacher.
I work at a medium sized Technology Center and teach high school kids up to young adults all about data management and technology assessment.
It is so great to be able to teach people about IT - the best part is them even teaching me some new things too :)
I am the assistant head of the Administrative Department of IT Education - meaning I help other educators decide what their curriculum should consist of, and how to teach it; as well as many other things.


I also love a good game of soccer with my neighbors and some friends.

I dont go outside as i have depression and anxity and when i do go out i have panick attacks, so my hobbies are mainly in the house i like taking photos (of the animals) my mobile phone has about 500 pics on and it keep saying memory full delete some items :p lol i like painting, drawing, cross stitching, watching tv videos dvds, listening to music, playing computer games, the net, and most of all taking care of my pets (i have a dog, 3 cats, 13 fish, a african grey parrot, a ringneck parrot, 2 lineolated parakeets, 12 cockatiels, 1 pair on 3 eggs due to start hatching 1 week today and 1 pair have been mating and 4 budgies) i enjoy making them toys aswell :p

I had great fun with HTML - i actually found that the easiest to learn. It was when we got to the javascript stuff that my brain stopped working properly. :p I'll definitely keep you in mind if i get stuck somewhere!

I use to be good at html. Creating my own website layouts. forgot most of it now. I can do pretty basic stuff tho. I made the budgies a website, forgot about it and just remember about it. might start working on one for budgies and tielies

So, I said, yeah, ok, I'll do Sentimental Journey and Dream a Little Dream, well, he said that would be fine and that I would sing with the keyboard player.......so, I got up on stage and the keyboard player didn't know how to play either of those songs!! We struggled through them, I've got it on video, but I wouldn't put them online, it was horrendous. Then the bass player said to me, sing Summertime, so, ok, I sang Summertime and that was the result. I tried to stop the band, but they carried on...hence the look to the camera...so we went through it all again. LOL!!! I tell you, I was really pleased to get off that stage. There was about 150 people watching as well, but it's all in good fun, we don't take it too seriously. I don't think Celine Dione as anything to worry about.

very nice I love the bench I have always wanted one of them at my front door, I am so not artsy, my oldest daughter is though I don't know where she gets it from certainly not us...lol she made a chair at school and got high praise for it she sanded it and stained it herself she is very good she can draw really good as well.
