Wow, that was a great sleep in!! :lol:

The little puppy is a birthday present (planned, the parents are happy with it) for a friend of a friend, so i'm looking after him until the birthday dinner on Tuesday. The little guy slept straight through the night with no accidents but now he's sitting in a make shift puppy pen behind me and whimpering like crazy. :p

Oh, and his breed is: cavalier king charles spaniel x toy poodle x shitzu x maltese :p

I was waiting for what breed the puppy was I had a feeling there was some shih tzu in there somewhere his colouring looks like my Peppers :)

lol i have owned 3 of those dogs at some point (the shih tzu, the poodle and the cavalier)

I would be so excited it someone gave me a dog for a birthday present! Your friends friend will be so

But we already have dogs, so might not be a good idea for a present! :p

What a lucky friend of a friend :) Iam sure she will be very happy to get a puppy. And it is great that her parents said yes :) It took me two years to get my first dog :p He will be 8 years old this June 12th :)

The puppy went to his new home last night. He and the birds had been out at the same time both nights he was here, but they just ignored each other. I did hold him up near Blinkie yesterday and Blinkie got all excited and started yelling "KISSY KISS" - i think the puppy was confused by him. :p

I'm coming up to the end of my first semester, which means exams for the next two weeks. After that i have to do two weeks full time work experience in an animal research lab, not my first choice of things to do but it's just what we have to do.

It took me two years to get my first dog

It took my mum when she was younger 15 years to get a dog, and she did in the end.

And it took me 2 years to keep asking and asking for a bird, and lots of sticky notes saying budgie on! :D Because I wanted to budgie's at first, but Little Bill was the only one born at the time. :p
