ok i was talking to a person who has kept birds for well over 20 years she said when you rescue birds always quarantine them second if they are missing feathers try putting them in different cages she said sometimes when they are missing feathers it is because they are plucking the others feathers for entertainment because they have no toys like the ones i rescued i have had shadow in the cage with stretch and sparkles but they have stayed away from shadow until lately now shadow has his crown back she also said increase the vegetables for the first 2-3 weeks that way if they are suffering from low vitamin deficiency that will help just thought i would share this with you
