Howdy everybody, I'm Kirsty and I am also a member of Talk Budgies. My identity there is LadyBug. I named myself Taffy after my pet cockatiel. I joined the other day and was going to post but something happened and left it until now. My budgie passed away and it was tough but here I am now and I hope to post often.

I'm from Australia and I'm a huge bird lover, I always have been. Any way, thank you for reading this and I hope to make new friends. :)

Welcome to the forums Kirsty! I'm really sorry to hear about the passing of your budgie, i know what it's like to lose a beloved pet. Taffy looks beautiful, we would love to see some more photos of her!

Thank you for your lovely welcomes, much appreciated! :) It's great to finally join a forum dedicated to Cockatiels. I've had two of them in my lifetime so far, I originally had one named Silvia who passed away last year, she was 15 years old and she was an awesome bird. My Dad gave me Taffy the same day to ease the pain and she's been going well since! I was hoping to get a boy this time but oh well! :p
