I have already posted that we are adding a Hahns Macaw baby to our flock as soon as he's weaned, probably in mid-August. We went to visit the babies for the first time today and they are sooooo cute! Just beginning to feather and so sweet.
But in other news, as we were at another local bird store/breeder yesterday, my husband fell in love with a little Goffin Cockatoo that wouldn't stop following him around the store! Like we always say...you don't pick a bird, a bird picks you...and this one definitely picked my husband! So of course we had to bring him home. And since the Goffin is now in the cage that we had all ready for the Hahns...I'm back to cage shopping! At least I have almost two months before the Hahns comes home... :cool:
