Hello everyone,

I am new to the forum and I like to introduce Enzo to all of you. He is a very friendly tiel.

We got him 2 months ago, I have been told that he maybe is from 6-10 months old.

Enzo learnt to say 'hello baby' and wolff-whistles, he is a very charming little fellow and we love him dearly!.

The only thing that I am finding difficult is that he does not like veggies or fruit.

When we got him we found that that he was afraid of hands but he could come close to our faces so long he was in the cage. He is getting better but it is a struggle to get him stepping on our finger to get him out of the cage, he pecks and rans away. So we wait until he gets out of the cage in his own terms. Once he is outside the cage he goes on the finger ok. If anyone has some ideas on how to get him eating veggies/fruit please let me know.

Have a good weekend!
Sonia

Thank you for the welcoming. Can you please tell me why under Enzo' picture says 'egg'? And how to fix this? Thanks and have a great weekend!

Egg is your forum ranking. :) As you post more you'll go from egg, to hatchling, to fledgling, etc.

You're very welcome. :D

Does he get spoiled a lot? And thanks, I have 3 females and 2 males, I don't breed them, but I am DEFINITELY going to be once my 3 females are old enough (Dipsy is 8 months, Mali is 7 months, and Tilly is 8 months) so maybe at the start of next year I will be able to start breeding them. I'm pretty sure the males are old enough, but I don't think there's any way to find out their age. >.<

Hi, welcome to the forum... I'm a new tiel owner, 2 wks now... My Tiki was a year old when I got him, he is scared of my hands too, but we are working on it. Seems every day we have a new milestone. Today he finally ate millet from my hand, so we are getting there. Enzo is very pretty.... Good luck
