Hi all!
I was browsing the web in search of tiel info and came across this great forum with loads of good info to read and now i have taken the step to join :)
I have my very first tiel whom i absoluty love and adore to pieces :love:
His name is Ozzy and he was born on the 1 May 2008, I have had him since 15 June. He was born in an outdoor aviary and raised by his natural parents but the breeder spent everyday an hour with him teaching him all the basics of stepping up, sitting on your shoulder and ofcourse not to be scared of humans. She really did a great job.
After the first week with lots of patience and millit he was stepping up onto my finger and being less shy, today two weeks later he is sitting on my shoulder and chatting away and nibbeling my hair and whistling to me :D:love:
I have owned many budgies in the past and have at this moment 8 of them in an indoor avairy, but tiels are just the best! they really have their own character and my Ozzy can really make me laugh, plus i just find it so funny how grumpy he can get when its late or too early in the morning lol
