digital camera

ok i have never had a digital camera and i want to get one soon to take pics of stretch and all my budgies also i want to be able to take pics of the celebration of lights this christmas season any sugestions

I have a Kodak Easyshare CX6330. It's a little older and doesn't do anything "special" but takes great pics- Most digital cameras have setting like macro, to take pics upclose, auto for regular pics, moving, night, distance. I know Kodak and Cannon are amongst my favorites. Can't wait to see your pics!

I guess it all depends how much you want to spend on the camera . From all the reviews I've read it seems like all Canon digital cameras are great cameras . I'm looking to get the Canon Powershot a560 soon but I have had no luck finding it in any stores around here.

Cannon Powershot's are good camera's, my mom has a lumix digital camera its excellent takes great pic's and super clear video :)

Canon Powershot A5xx series camera's are great for people looking for a simple point and shoot. Or you could look at Canon Powershot A630 for another simple camera, with the ability to use manual controls as you learn. The Powershot A-series cameras are good because they use AA batteries which are easy to find and replace. ;)

Mine is a Vivitar Vivi Cam 5100 it's a pretty good camera takes great pics out side, i think my main problem is my inside lighting is not the best - i think thats why none of my pics seem to come out the same color as i see them

My mom bought it for me this past xmas at her local walmart - i think she spent around 100 dollars or so on it it was my BIG gift so it wasn't extreamly cheap but not real expensive either
