View Full Version : From Egg To Weaning - Pictures
I was meaning to pin this here AGES ago, but better late than never. Here is a collage of my little Snickers from egg to weaning age. I thought it would be a good guide for people who are new to breeding and are wanting some comparison. Though you should keep in mind that my Snickers had a slow start. ;)

Hello Bea,
We have just got cockatiels 1 1/2 years ago. They are our first ever tiels. We didn't plan on breeding them but desided later to breed! I'm not sure why but one day my husband looked at me and said let breed the birds and he didn't have to say that twice I was all over it! We went that day and got a nesting box and began breeding. They had already done that nesty lol a few time in there food dish so we knew that they were in love, but the nesting box stayed empty a few days till one day our 11 year old son said I wouldn't go in there ether it's to dark so he opened the top a little bit to let in some light and they ran to get in it!:D They Just laid there first egg last thursday and on Saturday they laid there second one! I looked at your pics. of your bird and that was just great. I saved the pic and will look at it daily to make sure that my egg and chicks develop curectly. So Thank You so much Bea for doing that for us first timers. LOL

ty bea it is a good idea we can all go back on it like with miracle and squirt and see how far behind the groth is or how far ahead they are squirt is like a 18 day old chick but if you think what squirt and miracle went through you can understand
