Hi there welcome to the forum, congrats on your new lutino I just got one as well about 3 weeks ago and she is a little sweetie ;) bald spots are a common trait in lutinos its nothing to be worried about and yes the bald spot will always be there its a genetic trait from when the lutino was first bred, mine has one a well ;)

thanks :), now i don't have to worry about that any more.
Welcome!
I have 2 whiteface lutinos, one is 3 weeks old and one is 4 weeks old. I read about the bald spots. I keep looking at their heads to see if they have the bald spot.. lol I think their heads are perfect but I may be impartial! :p

Hi there and welcome. My normal grey split to pied had this aswell. She was plucked as a baby but its nothing to worry about. Bad breeding has brought this out a lot in them. Also welcome to talk cockatiels

When the lutino was first achieved there was alot of inbreeding going on to get that mutation thats why the bald spot appeared but now a days its getting less common and there are more and more tiels without bald spots.
Hi, welcome to the forums!! :D
