I ussually don't mind automated voice response systems but today was IMPOSSIBLE! I kept trying to call my bank and EVERYONE was screaming(esspecially Baby) so I walked in the other room and still the automated system kept saying it doesn't recognize my entry! Duh! It wasn't my entry- it was all the birds screaming and setting the machine into crazy mode...I finnally gave up and pressed 0 to talk to a real human....:rolleyes:

Ha Ha that is funny...sometimes my friends can't hear what I am saying on the phone cause my budgies are too loud!!!!

lol. Mom was on the phone cause my t.v wasn't working and the first thing they had to ask was how many birds do you have =P

Yup..that happens here too...I acctually got into the habit of apoligizing for the noise as the person answers..hehe

I HATE those automated voice things you get when you call some places. They're so annoying.

I do too I was on hold for 20min for a person to say they would call me back and they never did :mad:

just press 0, 0#, 0* or just *...that ussually works.

I hate those things, you move the phone away from you to cough and it tells you "invalid entry" or " i'm sorry i didn't get your response"

WHAT ever happened to a real live person answering the phone after a couple rings? I DO remember those days very clearly !

The Canberra Taxi company has become automated, but if you say you're booking a ride for later then you get put onto a person. :p Mum does it all the time, even if she needs a taxi right away.
