A Guide To Cockatiels & Their Mutations As Pet & Aviary Birds by Dr. Terry Martin & Diana Andersen
Just wondering how many people have this book? The revised edition just came out in 2007 and for any one who is confused or curious about Cockatiel genetics/mutations, this is a must have book. There are tons of photographs of all the standard mutations, plus combinations of them.
I see a lot of questions about Cockatiel mutations on the forum, so if you're looking for a reliable source, this book is very worthwhile to have in your avian library. :)

I'll have to get it. I have a good understanding of the mutations that have been around for a long time but I get lost with these new ones. Updated info would be good.

This is an Australian book, and I get the impression that it is not easily available in the US. Amazon has a listing for it but isn't selling it themselves, and apparently there's only one US seller (located in Illinois) who charges $50 for it. That's a lot for a paperback! The listing is at http://www.amazon.com/guide-Cockatiels-Their-Mutations-Aviary/dp/0975081772/
The older edition is worse - prices start at $85!! http://www.amazon.com/Guide-Cockatiels-Their-Mutations/dp/0958745587
They don't say how many pages are in the new edition although they do say it has 375 color images. The old edition has 96 pages.

I purchased it right from ABK Publications and for the book and air shipping, it was $68.00. But you can purchase it at Avian Publications: http://www.avianpublications.com/items/cockatiels/item353.htm for $54.95 (shipping is $4.00 if in the US) and it ships from MN, I believe.
This one has 200 pages and yes, it isn't inexpensive at all. BUT, well worth it for any one who is serious about breeding, or who wants to increase their genetics/mutation knowledge.
