hi and welcome....it all depends on what split the male has......because he is a male pearl he will have pearl daughters!! if he is split for lutino you will get lutinos too....but if he isnt you wont.....if he is split for cinnamon you may get some cinnamon girls.....a male bird has splits which come from his mother and his father...there are all different types of mutations.....dominant, recessive, sex-linked.....sex-linked mutations fathers pass on to their daughters....as mentioned above.....recessive means mum has to be it and dad either has to be it or be split for it (his mum or dad must have been it)....dominant u can get from just a split...like pieds....basically i know for sure u will get pearl girls and most likely grey sons unless dad is split for lutino, cinnamon or pied...hope this helped!! of course...its not an exact science and u still may get an unexpected surprise!!!

ok my question for you is this...does your beautiful pearl male still have his pearls and if so how old is he? If he's more than 6 months and still heavily pearled...its likely a beautiful female. Then as kim says it depends on splits but given what you have listed as the parents and not knowing the splits here is what the calculator gives

Mother:Lutino
Father:Pearl

male offspring:
100% Grey Split To {X1: Pearl} {X2: Lutino}

female offspring:
100% Pearl

I am not very strong in my genetics but I would like to point out that not all male birds lose their pearling. Though it is rare, some heavily pearled males (usually of the pied mutations) will retain some pearling. I have no idea why but thought it was a neat observation to share :)

The Males that keep their pearls are few and far between. Although it does happen I would still use the presence of pearling on a bird a year old as a good indicator that the bird was female.
