Mixing veggies/pellets?

Hi :) When you guys give your bubs pellets/veggies, do you put them in the same dish together? Because I've been putting the veggies ontop of the pellets, and he just throws off the veggies to get to his pellets (which I guess means he likes them, heh? :P)

I have a separate dish for seed, for pellets which stay in the aviary. but every day they get either millet, a salad topped with my bean mix (which has pellets in it) or just the bean mix alone. This week for example they got Salad 5 of the days. Beans alone one day and millet alone yesterday. The pellets that are mixed with the beans are added to the bean mixture after it is all cooked. They help to soak up and remaining moisture. If you find he is passing on the veggies to get to the pellets Soaking some and mixing them in with the veggies might be a good way to get him to eat them!

Jack has a dish for pellets, and another dish for his fresh veggies/mash. I will often put some pellets in the mash as well.
