Hi im new. just a question about sprouting seeds.

ok im new here and iv been a member on birdboard since i got petrie my cockatiel. i thought id become a member here since its all bout cockatiels. and my question is, is it safe to feed sprouts from bird seed to my cockatiel everyday. he has been on a complete pellet diet except for a small treat of seed daily. only about a pinch of seeds daily. but i read that sprouts are healthier then just seed so i started him on this and he loves them. anyone else you sprouts. thanks so much.

Sprouts are great! They are much healthier than the seeds themselves.

My birds get sprouts every day. They love them! And they're very healthy!
