View Full Version : A Bit Of Xmas Fun!
This afternoon i made a sketch with the idea that i would put it into photoshop, outline it, colour it, and then finally use it as my forum xmas signature. If i had have known it would take 5 hours .... well, maybe i wouldn't have started. :p I'm glad i didn't know that though, because i'm so happy with the end product! :D

Wow Bea it might have taken 5 hrs :eek: but that turned out Awesome!!!! I love it :D what a great job you did on it, it came out really cute, I guess you won't be taking requests for those...lol :p

BEA!!!!! You did that???? OMG!! I can't draw my breath and you come out with something like that, it's brilliant, I love it. I love the way Cookie has the love light in her eye for Ozzy, lol. Brilliant.

Oh my bea. That is beautiful. 5 hours is nothing when get older and look back at what you did. It will be well worth it.

That is beyond awesome, I never knew you could draw something and then upload it and color it in - - NOT that i can draw , shoot i can't even draw a straight line using a ruler lol
:D :o Thanks so much guys!! :D I don't think i could draw the same thing consistently enough to be in the cartoon business, but it is a lot of fun! :p And Laura, as long as it's not a whole scene like what i've done i would be happy to take requests! ;) Something like in my sig definitely doesn't take me 5 hrs. It's a 10 min sketch and probably 30 mins on the computer. I'm doing an african grey for my friend (i hope, never drawn a grey before) later today!

I'll get around to it in the next few days - school holidays gives me plenty of free time. :p I'll draw from memory, if i need to check Ollie's pattern i'm sure there are lots of pics here i can check back to. :D

I would ask too but I have way too many pets! If it took 5 hrs for your babies then....lol... you did do a great job though. Looks like a real cartoon!

Aww bea. He is soo cute! I'd love one of my cuties. Just little sketches of each would be beautiful. I mean, i love your siggy. Now to get some more christmas stuff on the go, time to post some pics of the snow we HAD. Sadly its gone now and has been for a few days
Laura i just wanted to let you know i haven't forgotten about your drawing. :p I've done the sketch, i've just got to put it into the computer to outline and colour. I still haven't got around to it, but i definitely haven't forgot!

They are so so cool!!! :cool: I love them both, I have got photoshop but never use it ( I always do it wrong).
But I have got a graphics tablet which is a pen that you draw on a tablet, then it is just like you are drawing on paper because it appears on the screen, so I use Corel Painter Essentials, I tryed to draw Earl and Little Bill but it turned out to look like they had been run over. I am good at drawing things but just couldn't do Earl and Little Bill :(
P.S Congratulations again on your great drawings :D:D:D

I don't blame you, it seems like alot of work it would take me a year to do one like that if ever...LOL
LOL!! I generally go in and out of phases when it comes to drawing. With two months school holidays ahead of me i'm sure the urge to draw will return. :rolleyes:

I was just looking at that! It looks great! I did something similar with the paint setting in Photo Impressions. All this art got me in the mood to take out my clay and paints!

Your right cleaing is a good talent...LOL 4 birds I dog I hamster, fish 3 kids 1,7 and 13 and a husband and my house is pretty darn clean, I am a freak that way everything has to have a place in my house...lol

Lol! I have times when I just feel like drawing! My art teacher gets annoyed with me because I also have times when I don't feel like drawing. She knows now just to ignore me in these times. :D :p

I can't stand A messy house, my mum is like that aswell, since she says I am the messy one LOL!
