Christmas Presents For The Pets

Its so funny I am almost done shopping for the pets but I have yet to finish the humans...lol

I found a small pet store I had never been to and they had some great cockatiel toys for very reasonable prices so I thought I would share some pics of them because I couldn't believe what a good deal they were I paid $12 for all three of them.

For Pepper I found these really small tennis balls...lol there about a 1/3 of the size of a regular tennis ball she is so tiny they are perfect :p I also found a gift box set with Christmas dinner in it specially made for dogs :p its a two course gourmet meal extra meaty turkey and dressing dinner with cranberries and apple crumble dessert how funny is that :p

For Lulu I got her a bunch of yougart drops and a bag of mixed treats, wood chews and at walmart they had something new I had never seen it was a package with 4 small boxes in it that you give it to them just like that so they can chew through the box and inside the box is assorted seeds and treat stuff :p

For Sparkle I got her some new dishes, I still have to find her a good toy and what ever else I can find ;) I am thinking of getting her a new cage maybe a change would do her good.

And lastly Prince Cinnamon Boots....lol our Betta fish I haven't decided yet what we will get him maybe a new ornament for his tank...hehe

Anyone else out there as crazy as I am when it comes to the pets :p Santa comes to everyone in my house...:D

Cute toys! They'll like those and $12 is a REALLY good price for them. You're by no means crazy- I buy presents for ALL my pets too-even my mom's cat and dog.

I haven't just yet but I have an idea of what to get:


My dog Roxy...
She loves GREENIES so I'll get her a box of those...

My mom's cat Candy...
She likes anything but I think I'll get her some live catnip-she should love that.

My mom's fish...Fluffy
I gave her a box of blood worms for him so that was his early Xmas present..lol

My budgies...Jazzy, Maui, Stormy, Sky, Jamy, Kiwi, Sugar and Limu
I'll probably get them some new toys, shreddy stuff and some treats...rearrange their cage all nice...

The tiels...Baby and Ziggy
More toys, some new floor toys which they love, some shreddy stuff..I'll rearrange their cage too...

The hamster, Honey
Ummm...a chew toy and some strawberry yogurt treats...

My betta, Fire
I've been thinking of getting him a larger bowl, (getting boring for him..and me) maybe a whole new setup...I saw this really nice one for $10 at this arts and crafts store...saw it later at Petsmart for $49 so I'll be going to get the $10 one- It's in the shape of a fish!!!

I've made my birds toys this year, so they'll each be getting a new toy. The aviary budgies get a big seed doughnut each year. For Mickey i will go to the local dollar store and find some fun toys for him. He chews up ANY toy super quick, so we gave up getting expensive ones a loooong time ago. :p

Dollar stores are great :p thats where I found the tiny tennis balls for Pepper :D

I'd love to get bigger cages for Sunny and Snowy (Bullet, we have a good cage for, but for some reason haven't gotten around to cleaning and moving him into it yet), but we'll probably just end up getting them toys and treats. But when we shop for toys, I look for only safe and fun-looking ones!

Yep, I tell them that Santa Claws has brought them presents!!! Dooby has got a new toy with a bell in it. Ruby has a ball within a ball that she can throw around, Ziggy has got a bundle of willow wood to chew! So, they are sorted. lol

No, Scooby went after about a week of me having her, she just didn't like being in a cage at all, she would hang on the bars and really stress herself out, so she went to someone I know with an aviary and is loving it. She's the boss of several other budgies. lol. Boy, I had to give up to a neighbour because when Dooby came, Boy was so jealous, he wouldn't let Dooby land on me or play with any toys and it just wasn't possible to have them in separate rooms. If I let Dooby out and kept Boy in, Boy would go mad in his cage, it was just a nightmare, but the good thing is, I gave Boy to my neighbour and I know he is doing well and is well looked after. So, Dooby is my only bird now. As much as I loved Boy, I just couldn't have him being that mean to Dooby or stopping Dooby getting to me, because it was heading towards having two untamed birds.

for the my tiel im getting some new toys and moving the toys in his cage around.for my African Grey a new rope swing and lots of dried chili (its his favroite). :) and some new fruits for them both to try.:D

I got Spike a new toy with munchie balls on it and Icarus a bell toy with a disco ball attached. For Bandit the dog mabey a squirell toy and some treats. And for Shadow and Sugar the cats some treat and mabey a new cat magnet blanket. For Spice the betta I may just give him an extra feeding He would love that :)

I went out tonight and got some stuff. I bought 25 wicker balls. Some seed and i will be getting them some toys and maybe a new friend lol. Well see but my guys are spoiled and theres not much they can do about it lol.

Me and my mum bought Earl & Litle Bill a toy in October (they go up in price at Christmas)
It has got a bell and a little danggly thing on it (don't know how to describe it).
