200 horses rescued from a tiny island...

That video it makes yuu have a mixture of feelings, Sadness because 18 drowned and 18 died after they were saved but, really really happy that many many horses survived, all that.

I love the part when they are all galloping and running on dry land because they are happy.

Wow Rosie thanks for sharing that what an amazing video brought tears to my eyes watchng it, to see all those horses being lead to safety filed all in a line was just WOW thankfully they had people who wouldn't give up on them, cheers to those Ladies.... very sad that 18 were lost days later but good that so many made it.

Amazing... there still are good people out there! Sad for those who didn't make it but atleast some were saved. That site had some nice videos-I've always loved horses-they're amazing animals!

That is great that so many horses were saved. I Think that 18 drowned but I don't think it said anything about any dying afterwards.

aww thats sad yet happy. Do you know when this video was taken. I remember seeing something like this before. At lease their efforts worked

Wow, that's A LOT of horses!! I'm so glad that most of them survived thanks to the rescuers.

Glad you all enjoyed the video. If it wasn't for the volunteers then who knows what might have happened to those poor horses. So I say, hats off to the volunteers!!

I think it was last year sometime, in 2006.
