Hello again!
I forgot one point in my question, oops.
The question is - How much vegetables and fruits should be given to one Cockatiel daily?
I'm figuring two tablespoons in total per day, but I'm sure I'm not right, or I wouldn't be asking =P
Anyways... Any help is greatly appreciated!: )
Thankyou,ThankYou

That's about the total intake of all food. So if you give them 2 tablespoons of veggies some of it will go to waste. A good idea is to remove the seed in evening and give them fresh foods in the am and putting the seed back in the afternoon. Pellets should be available all the time tho.

I like to give my birds more than I actually expect them to eat, to make sure they get all that they want. It seems like a bigger serving of greens looks more attractive to them than a smaller serving anyway. But I don't go overboard with it to avoid excessive waste. I figured out how much to offer based on trial and error, giving them food and then seeing how much of it they ate.

Hi...most tiels prefer vegs over fruits. To be on the safe side try to get organic.
As to any leafy greens, offer the the leaf whole. When any food is chopped this exposes more surface that can gather bacteria and this accerates spoilage. when the green/leaf is given whole the tiel will instictively chew/eat the areas of the leaf that have the most nutrients...many times this is the veins, and leave the rest.
The only time to take care with greens is when a hen is laying. Avoid greens such as spinach that contain oxalic acid which tends to bind calcium and make it unavailable in the bird when needed...such as for egg formation.

I feed about 2 teaspoons of fresh food everyday.
Once or twice a month I make a big batch of fresh veggies, cooked grains, some fruit and sprouts. I package it in containers that hold about 2 days worth of it, then freeze it. Then I dethaw overnight as needed.
This way allows little prep time for me, and less waste
