One Week Follow Up

So I went for my one week follow up appt on my laser eye surgery, and I lost a little bit of vision in my left eye I went from 20/20 in both to 20/20 right 20/25 left, she said it was probably because my eye was dry I had my appt first thing this morning and I never drank anything I just got up got ready and went and over night you don't produce tears so she attributes it to that as there were no problems with the eye no scratches and the flap had no wrinkles it was laying flat.
I finished all my drops on Wednesday and they said to use the refresh tear drops when they get dry which i haven't been doing as I never really noticed it but I am going to start using them she said to use them about 4 times a day to keep them hydrated I go back again in 3 weeks for my one month appt so hopefully I will be back to 20/20 in that left eye.
I wasn't to disappointed in it though even at 20/25 I can see perfectly and its 50 times better then what I was seeing before :D

Oh it happens- make sure you use those drops (even though I know you hate it). They'll help with the moisture. Either way, like you said, it's way better then before!

I really thought I was done with the drops with the refresh tears they just said use as needed when your eyes get dry and to be honest I never really noticed that they were dry until last night my one eye was a little blurry so I put some in and then all was fine but I am going to keep a better eye ( no pun intended...lol) on it, she said this morning to use them about 4 times a day for now seeing as it does get dry so I will do that now that I know ;)

I had trouble with my eyes for a while in primary school, and it turned out my eyes were dry from sleeping with my eyes open or something. :p

I know!! I couldn't believe it. But that's what the optometrist thought i was doing. :p

I'm sure your vision will go back to 20/20 with the drops. :D

I have heard about sleeping with one eye open, but two :p

I've never heard of people sleeping with their eyes open! Only animals!
