they have just started to sprout today, is it best to give now or wait another day?

Grain and seed sprouts are supposed to be at their best when the root has just barely started to emerge, so you can feed those now. Lentils and safe beans (basically mung and adzuki) need to be sprouted until the tail is a bit longer to eliminate natural toxins. Lentils need at least a 1/4" tail and beans a 1/2" tail.

Well this morning they have little roots and have sprouted, so I have given them a try. I'll let you know how they liked them or not.

i have sprouts from the waste seeds every da for my birds

i leave them until 2 days after they sprout with one exception

Corn

this i sprout and eave until its 6" tall this is like celery and they love it

try it, its not bad :)
