Lol, it is really silly isn’t it, can’t work out why they ban them yet sell stuff for them, makes no sense! They kind of remind me of a bigger version of a rat in a way, I used to own 3 rats a looong time ago, but they were like that too.

They are very smart, he is a very cheeky boy.

Awe, they are SO freaking cute, what sweet faces. :) Thank you for sharing that photo of them, I wish we could get them over here, they are illegal to own here though apparently (how ridiculous, yet I see stores selling chinchilla cages so work that one out, LOL :hmm:).

Way too fast. :( I didn’t know you had chinchilla babies, or even a chinchilla! But I bet that was a pretty awesome experience getting to watch them grow up. :) We don’t get them here unfortunately, but I know a lot of people who own them and I have gotten to really like the cuties the more stories I read about them. LOL, a Tsuka thing! It very well could be, hopefully he snaps out of it soon, I remember there was a time you had them together, so it sounds like he has his moments, could be him, could be hormones kicking in whenever they feel like it, and unexpectedly. All good fun, not!!

I am raising a baby Magpie at the moment, I have had him for awhile, he is just starting to eat by himself, and then he is going into a massive aviary so the lady can keep an eye on him to make sure he is ready to be re-released and to build up his flight strength. Going to be sad to see him go, but at least he can go back into the wild where he belongs, and I am sure he will be much happier. :D

Glad everyone is doing alright/well! :D Shame on Tsuka being a jerk though, he sure does show his feisty side a lot, doesn't he, LOL. Would be a bit of a relief for Dally though – boys and their raging hormones, aye. :p This forum, I have to admit, isn’t the exact same without you, and a few of other people who were regular posters that have been a real asset. Just doesn’t seem the same as it used to, don’t get me wrong, we have some wonderful members (especially roxy, ollieandme, etc) but yeah, wish it was still the same.

I have been wonderful thanks, been busy with babies, working, caring for a wild baby bird, it has been pretty full on. :) Yep, Quinn has 3 babies, they grew up too fast though, I kind of feel like I missed a lot because of everything else I have been busy with between watching them grow, it was like they were pink blobs one minute, and the next minute, in a blink of an eye, they are all grown up babies. But I feel very blessed, and I am proud!

Thanks so much, i'd guessed 3 months as well when I first got him, now I can keep track of his age better in the future.

Yeah :( it can be. But it is also very rewarding seeing an animal you've been working with get adopted. Of course both my cat and dog came from pounds lol and i think they know it because they are such good pets :3

Haha no i was just picturing like a hawk xD
My Echo is very funny like that, he's very one person. Loves kids but can't stand guys. If my guy friends hug me he starts hissing and will open his winbs like "you see how big i am?!" XD its so funny to watch. But ge's not that way to guys in my family at least

Well i got him to be a companion to my Echo :3 but for the longest time he was really mean, they fought a lot. Eclipse is much tamer now but i'm pretty sure he was unsocialized as a baby as that breeder was feeling a bad recession and selling off a lot of his birds. Eclipse is a fun bird though, he can mimic almost anything after hearing it a couple times. I just wish he was nicer to my family when they are around.

Thats lucky :) i'm almost certain Eclipse went through some sort of trauma before i got him, he usually has a nasty attitude towards everything. He used to bite a lot and scream if you got near him. Not even touch him and he's act like you were murdering him. He's a bit better now at least lol
