Default cockatiel help pls im a newbie when it comes to cockatiels

Sir my cockatiels tail is still not growing back one grew back but he plucked it there he is now with the others plus i would like to know their gender pls tell me if you know because im a newbie and last question will they pick their partner when they are matured plus how long does it naturally takes to pick their partner

I'm not very experienced either, but I've done some research on mutations. He looks like he's moulting out of his pearls, so I'd say he's a male, but he's also pied if I'm not wrong so it may take years for him to fully lose them.

Again, not very experienced, this is just my guess!

Rivx guessed right ,it looks like molting WF pied boy. The tail will grow back-may be during next molt. Picking a partner may take from few days to few months and cockatiels may be as young as 3 months to form a bond. More or less the same rules apply to picking a partner as it is with humans, there may be love "'at first sight"' or they may never pick one..

Thank you for your answers cause it a relif for me to know that his tail will grow back the next time he molts also if someone reads this message can you pls tell the gender of my cockatiels? cause thats the part im worried but its the part that makes me always think about it

If your cockatiels are young, then its hard to tell. But the main way to guess their gender is to look under their tails. The ones who have black bars (lines) under their tails are most probably females.
