Default Chicks are being fed by parents. What should I do to ensure that they grow up tame?

They're about 5 days old now and their parents aren't tame. I don't want to handfeed them because the parents are doing a really good job and I haven't handfed before.

Simple; lots of time and love from a very early age. Start when their eye open.

As soon as the chicks learn to eat themselves, just take them out everyday and spend lots of time with them.

When their eyes open, spend as much time as you possibly can handling the chicks. A minimum of an hour a day. They'll turn out bolder than a hand fed bird, but a lot tamer than a 'wild' baby

Good luck to you! I suck at co-parenting babies, LOL.
