Default Is my chick pied?

Hello people, I wanted to ask if one of my chicks could be pied.

Mum is a pearl and dad is whiteface cinnamon pearl. One of the chicks is yellow fluff and I'm not sure what he is yet, but the other is white fluff (so am I right in saying mum is split to whiteface?)

He has light patches along his wings and I think a light crest coming in too. If this is the case does that mean both parents would be split to pied?

Thank you

(So exciting to see what you get in the nest!)

Here are some pics of yellow. He's actually a couple days older but is a little behind I think due to dehydration at hatching.

The first tell-tale sign of the pied baby-is yellow or white (in case of WF crest). All chicks who are not WF have yellow fluff. The babies on the picture-look like some pied WF pearls and the one with yellow fluff-may be a cinnamon pearl, hard to tell yet if its pied. That means that both parents are split to pied and Mom is split to WF

Will yellow catch up to his sibling in time, or will he always be a bit stunted?

I've just had some formula delivered so that I can help out with supplemental feedings if needed for him (or her if cinnamon)

If hydration and nutrition is restored and there are no underlying health issues then yes baby can catch up and grow/mature normally.

It looks like the whiteface baby has a couple of white primary pinfeathers near the tip of the wing in addition to the ones on the head. It looks like a pied!

It's nice to think my hours of research may be paying off. I'm thinking that the Whiteface is male, and the yellow may be a cinnamon female though I'm not sure yet, though I did think I saw the plum colour pupils through the skin when it was a few days.

I'm looking forward to seeing if I'm right or not!
